Overview

The FSO Aerial Link Analyzer is a professional Monte Carlo simulation tool for Free-Space Optical (FSO) communication links in atmospheric environments. It models all major performance-degrading physical phenomena - atmospheric attenuation, turbulence-induced fading, pointing error, and angle-of-arrival fluctuations - over a wide range of link topologies including ground-to-UAV, ground-to-HAPS, UAV-to-HAPS, UAV-to-UAV, and HAPS-to-HAPS links in uplink, downlink, and horizontal configurations.

The tool provides four performance metrics - Average BER, Ergodic Capacity, Outage Probability, and Link Budget - all computed via high-accuracy Monte Carlo simulation. It targets system designers, researchers, and engineers who need rapid, reliable performance estimation for FSO systems at atmospheric, aerial, and near-space altitudes.

Note: This software is delivered as a standalone Windows .exe installer. No any external runtime is required - the tool runs entirely on Python.
